We have delicious meat and vegan curries with rice available at the lodge (plus desserts and other goodies). These are pre-prepared, easily self served (we'll show you how on checkin) and available 24/7
If you'd like to bring and cook your own food there is a BBQ, air fryer and microwave available at the lodge.

Yes, a continental breakfast is included and is available from 6-10am.

Your dome includes a kettle and small fridge. You are very welcome to use the lodge for any food preparation.

Each dome has a king bed. If you'd require more bedding we can provide 1 or 2 extra single pull out beds on request at a cost of $60 p/bed.

We offer meat and cheese platters, massages and sound healings as optional extras. Cheese platters can be ordered anytime up to the morning of your stay. Massages and sound healings ideally should be booked at the time of booking.

From Launceston – 1hr 15min, 100km
Take the A1 west towards Deloraine. Turn off left before Elizabeth Town. Take B13 towards Sheffield and Cradle Mountain. In Sheffield turn left and take Claude Road, C136 towards Cradle Mountain for around 15kms. At the sharp corner in Gowrie Park, turn left into Wellington Road. Just after the lodge you'll see a sign saying Wilder Cottage. Turn right at that sign.From Cradle Mountain – 50min, 46km
Coming out of the National Park, turn right and head towards Sheffiled/Launceston on C132, Turn right just after Moina C136 for 15km. At the sharp corner in Gowrie Park, turn right into Wellington Road. Just after the lodge you'll see a sign saying Wilder Cottage. Turn right at that sign.From Devonport and the Spirit of Tasmania – 35min, 40km
Head south towards Spreyton on B19. At Spryton turn right on B14 towards Sheffield. This becomes C150 after Acacia. In Sheffield turn right and take Claude Road, C136 towards Cradle Mountain for around 15kms. At the sharp corner in Gowrie Park, turn left into Wellington Road. Just after the lodge you'll see a sign saying Wilder Cottage. Turn right at that sign.From Hobart – 3hrs 20min, 280kms
Take the A1 north towards Launceston. Either staying on the A1 or passing through Longford, take the A1 to Devonport, but turn off left before Elizabeth Town. Take B13 towards Sheffield and Cradle Mountain. In Sheffield turn left and take Claude Road, C136 towards Cradle Mountain for around 15kms. At the sharp corner in Gowrie Park, turn left into Wellington Road. Go pass the Caravan park for about 300m. Just after the lodge you'll see a sign saying Wilder Cottage. Turn right at that sign.
